Why I made this Advent resource
For years, I’ve been asked to preach Advent retreats. I love showing up at a church or hall, spending time with those who can fit an evening out in the December chaos. And for every person who makes it there are others who cannot be there. I get it. We are all making so many choices in how we spend our time.
I wanted to offer something that could reach the ones who cannot make it for the evening or weekend retreat, something that can travel into your heart and hands wherever Advent finds you. I wanted to capture something of the grace of the live connection, but also the invitation to spend time after the presentation in quiet reflection.
The most incredible things happen when God takes up the space between my work and your heart. It is a miracle to me that I need to speak these words and someone else needs to hear them. I created this for the things that it will do in you.
